*************

Carter and I were in the kitchen together and he started to reach for the kitchen faucet. At first, I pulled him away thinking, "No. It'll be more of a mess to clean up and I'm trying to cook." But then I stopped and realized, "That's dumb. It'll be so fun for him and who cares if it is more for me to clean up." So I cleaned it up, put his bumbo in it, gave him some things to play with and he loved it. Lesson learned: Think outside the box. Have fun. Don't be a control freak. Kids aren't always convenient to my plan.

I want to be a mother who does fun and creative stuff with their kids. Fun stuff like this.
