As most people know who might be reading this already know, Casey is pretty funny. And one of my favorite things that Casey does to me, is the side eye roll. I can TOTALLY read what is going on his head when he does this. This tends to happen when I am annoying him, making him crazy (as all wives can do), or he is right about something and is rubbing it in. And usually occurs while lying in bed or sitting in the car. So I took a picture to remember always this.

Good NEWS.

I had mentioned a few posts ago that through a serious of events Casey might be eligible for more financial assistance. Casey and I found out today that Casey qualifies for $5350.00 of pell grants. We were very excited! When asked if we wanted to cash them out we said "No. PLEASE APPLY TO OUR LOANS." So not only is school now completely paid for, we were able to take a big chunk out of our loans. Praise Jesus.

It's a big deal for us because Casey and I really want to be debt free one day. The less we have to pay back, the better. :)

Baby Shower.

Casey has been wanting to get his wedding ring tatooed on for awhile so we finally did it the other night. He loves it. Since we have a problem keeping track of his wedding rings and he can't wear one while working on cars, this is the best solution. It's just a straight line. Nothing to hoosier and his wedding ring hides it really well.

I threw in some of Casey's All Star pics from last weekend below.

Casey has been wanting to tatoo his wedding ring on his finger. At first I said no but after experiencing Casey already going through one wedding ring and we currently can't find the second one (though it's somewhere around our apartment) and realizing that mechanics can't wear rings on their fingers, I thought it would be the best solution for him.

It is just a straight line....nothing to hoosier....that can be hidden with ring.

Casey's new ring.

Casey has been wanting to tatoo his ring on his finger for awhile now. My first reaction of course was no.

But after going through one wedding ring (he always is playing with it :) and the fact that he will be working on cars and he can't wear one, I thought it was a good idea. SO last night we went.

He really likes it. It's nothing to hoosier. Just a straight line that can be hidden when he wears a ring.

The result of all this......MY BACK IS KILLING ME.

Motherhood.

Precious in so many ways.

Our trip to St. Louis was SO nice. There's nothing like HOME. The smell of your parent's house, the green trees, the pretty flowers, your family, knowing where things are in the world. Comfort. Security. It was a good break. We are both pretty worn out though. We were busy the whole time.....baby shower, church, graduation parties, shopping, home run derbys, friend visiting. Lots to do in 4 short days. I need a off day here soon. But I will get to see my husband a lot more these next few weeks. He is taking a phase break from school to rejuvenate and rest. It's wonderful!

Casey was able to do some job searching while we were there and that was really positive. Nice motivation to keep going!

We were very blessed at our baby shower that Casey's family threw for us. Lots of cute little clothes and gift cards! Much appreciated. Casey somehow got a Whitey Herzog 1982 signed Cardinal's jersey out of the deal too. Unbelievable.

Casey was able to go to he Home Run derby on Monday and hang out down town for the All Star Game. He loved it.

I was able to go maternity clothes shopping. It is nice to have clothes that are cute and fit. :) My friend Ashley also blessed me with a huge stack of clothes.

Pictures to come soon.

Until then I have loads of laundry to do and baby nursery to slowly get ready. So fun.

We spent Fourth of July at my Uncle's basically just eating, swimming, and hangin out. Fun stuff. :) There's always lots of action when 5 boys are running around.

Sunday night we went to the movies. It was my Uncle's birthday and he wanted to see Public Enemy but my Aunt didn't want to see it. So the boys (my Uncle, cousin, and husband) went and saw Public Enemy and the girls (My Aunt and I) went and saw The Proposal.

And now it's already Wednesday. Getting ready for St. Louis!
