Grandpa Postcards.

My Grandpa recently celebrated his 80th birthday! 80 years! But let me tell you, the man is still working like he's 20. (He was over at my house this morning working his chainsaw.)

Family came into town and celebrated a few weekends ago. It was fun. We had a big meal, celebrated his life with pictures and stories, played washers, kept kids happy, opened gifts, chatted, laughed. It was good.

Anyway....all of this to say, I helped my Grandma design his THANK YOU postcards. See below.

I think they are super manly which I like.

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

The Boy's Rooms.

I've been busy trying to get the boy's rooms done. Thankfully my Dad painted both rooms. I just used paint that he had left over. (I'm just trying to use what I have. It makes you more creative when you have boundaries and less options.) My Mom and Grandma have helped me with getting curtains I have hemmed and up.

After seeing this license plate "art" from this really cute nursery, I said DONE. My husband has been collecting license plates for awhile and so I nabbed them and tied them together. I think it's cute and boyish PLUS cost me $0.00. I made two sets. One for Carter's room and one for the new baby's room.

I also made some prints that I am still in the midst of getting up.

Anyway...it's fun. I like boys. They are easy.

And let's be honest, they don't care about any of this. :)

Mothering.

Good stuff.

Carter Updates.

*He is into blankets. He has one particular blanket that he likes.
*He is not into eating right now. :(
*He is talking in lot more in his own little language. Though the other night, he was in bed and kept saying "mama". It was cute.
*He's still busy. I don't think that will change for awhile.
*He loves other kids.
*He loves being outside.
*He's into tools. He watches adults do stuff and then wants to do it.
*He laughs.
*He's into pushing things around...like furniture.

In pregnancy news, it's getting hard to move. :) Oh..how life is going to change soon.

KITCHEN Love.

This is my current kitchen. Well...this pic is missing lovely stainless steel appliances (that we got off Craig's List for an amazing deal).  But you get the basic idea.

And this is what I want my kitchen to look like: some version of all these lovely, bright, open, airy kitchens.

Pretty.

Love the white cabinets for some reason. My husband tried to talk me into staining them a darker color and I even contemplated a green color. But I keep coming back to the white.

Love these light fixtures.

So all we have to do (that we know of) is
*fix the eating area
*unwallpaper
*redo the floors
*repaint the cabinets
*new hardware
*paint the backsplash
*get new countertops
*paint the walls

Easy. Right???

Then I remember we have baby boy #2 coming quite soon.

It might not be happening for awhile.

New Prints: For Sale

The ADORABLE Melanie Slates asked me for some prints. She wanted one print for the verse Exodus 15:13 and one of her home state Missouri.

I like girlyness. It's fun.

If you would like one for yourself, you can purchase below OR email me at kjoyeldridge@gmail.com for specific sizes and colors.

Graduation Postcards.

My sister recently graduated and to thank her family and friends for all their love and support we designed these postcards for her. She thought that we could come up with something a little more better than the photo card selection at Sam's and I think we did it.

Congrats sis for graduating! And yay for cute postcards!
