Carter had a good first Christmas. It was nice and simple. My brother, Daniel, came into town last Monday. It's been fun to hang out with him and enjoy the holiday with family. On Christmas day we headed over to my Uncle's house and saw Christmas morning in full throttle. Boys and gifts were everywhere!

Casey starts back to school tomorrow morning. He has a 4 day week and then he is done with this phase and only THREE more classes (6 weeks) to go! (We love to count down.)

We have survived 2 weeks of double coursing. It's pretty rough. Casey was exhausted last night. His legs were sore from standing in lab for 6 hours straight. But the good news is he has 9 days off for Christmas.

Having Carter along at work has gone well. It's such a blessing when I realize that I am able to carry our health insurance and not have to pay for childcare which we wouldn't want to have him at anyway. I know it is something that I will look back on one day and remember how God has always been there for us.

Since Casey has been double coursing, we haven't seen him for very much. Last night Casey was holding him and Carter just held his little head up and stared at Casey. So sweet.....

Again....let's hope I can make it through another post with no words missing and correct spelling. :) I'll do my best. Usually I am bad at editing but lately I have been really bad. Maybe it's the pregnancy hormones.

It's been a good week for us. The big news has been Casey's ASE tests. Casey was extremely relieved and excited when we heard he passed five. His goal was to at least pass one so he would be ASE certified but turns out he passed five. Three more and he will be a master technician. He is hoping to take the three he didn't pass in January. He also took the test to get into the 4 month Porsche school in Atlanta and did way above the average and needed passing grade. PLUS Friday was the end of phase #12 which means 5 more classes to go. Monday he will start double coursing which means that he will be at school from 6 AM- 8: 15 PM. LONG day but he saved some of the more interesting classes for the end of his program. I believe Custom Engine Building is one he is really excited about.

Carter is doing well. Going to work with him has been successful so far. There were a few stressful moments but nothing to bad. As long as I feed him every 3 hours, he is good to go and stays fairly content. Thankfully I am able to bring him. It's a HUGE blessing.

It doesn't really feel like Christmas here to either Casey and I. Maybe b/c we can wear flip flops most of the time. Today is actually really cold which is a nice change of pace.

But besides being tired most of the time, we are hanging in there. Enjoying Carter and being parents.

ASE tests!

Casey got his ASE test results back today. ASE is to mechanic as the bar is to a lawyer. He took them a few weeks ago and wasn't sure how he did. His goal was to pass one and turns out he passed FIVE out of all eight that he took!!! He is really excited. THREE more tests and he will be a master technician. We had to share the exciting news. :)

Carter has learned that when he cries we come and hold him. :) So Carter and I like the sling for the fussy times. He can be close to me and I can still use my hands. It's nice and works well especially when at work.

We went to a car show here (see car picture below) in Phoenix and Porsche was there. Casey wanted a picture of Carter and him by the new Porsche Panamera (or something like that). The photographer (me) didn't quite get the Porsche symbol on the car in the picture. :)

Casey enjoyed checking out the car and knew more about the vehicle than the model lady who is suppose to know all about the car. He probably sold one to this guy who kept asking him questions about it. Pretty funny to watch.
