Baby Belly.

We've been busy around here.

We moved and got a new deck on our house in a little more than a week. Thanks to family for all of their hard work! If not for their help, we would be busy, tired little puppies. Thankfully we are doing pretty good and trying to destress as much as possible. 

NO MORE MOVING!!!!! (This was our 7th move since we have been married almost 3 years ago.)

Breathe.

We like our house. Casey loves working on it. Carter loves playing in the garage and being able to be outside. It's nice to not be stuck in an apartment. It helps our family dynamics.

Today my sweet sister took maternity pics for me. I wanted to do something since I didn't really have a "maternity" shoot with Carter. My baby belly has been documented for years to come. :)

Moving.

We are in full swing in regards to packing up this joint! I'm finding it a bit challenging being pregnant so I have had to cool it a little. Monday morning I did way too much and was paying the rest of the day. Turns out pregnancy does slow you down. I'm not allowed to lift heavy things. Not the worse thing though I like getting things done. :) Thankfully my mom is helping me. And my one year old. He likes playing with the boxes.

Carter Updates.

*He's teething and getting molars. Up to this point, teething hasn't upset him too much but these past few days he has been in lots of pain. Poor little guy. He puts his hand up to his mouth and cries. It's been a rough week for him and I.
*He loves throwing balls and is obsessed with steering wheels.
*He also has a thing for iphones and keys which we have to hide from him.
*He likes to throw stuff in the trashcan.
*Though he still doesn't talk, he understands when I say "No" and "Come here." He doesn't always chose to listen but he knows.
*He likes big trucks and lawn mowers. Basically he likes machinery.

I keep worrying about things.

And I realized that I am very blessed.

I have a husband and a happy, little boy that got to run around yesterday in the sunshine and play in dirt. (Which he loved.) Not all mother's can say that.

Right now I need to stop and be GRATEFUL. I choose joy.

My blogging has ceased lately. I think I am an emotional blogger or maybe it is being 31 weeks pregnant! It's gone so fast.

But it's even more exciting because.......

After a bit of a tumultuous, dramatic house shopping experience that looked nothing like HGTV's House Hunters (I heard the show is staged), we will be homeowners on May 20th. Woot! Our little house passed all it's inspections and we got a super-deal on stainless steel appliances from Craig's List so we should be ready to move in.

Exciting.

Had a birthday recently. Turned 28. Celebrated with a Royal Wedding sleepover and a date night to Pi with Casey. It's nice to go to a restaurant without a busy-one year old.

Good reminder.

I need to get him one of these soon. (I think we are starting to hit the terrible-twos phase a bit early. He's becoming quite the handful. He's still adorable-just busy. He's definitely not a baby anymore. Definitely a little boy. Parenting is getting a bit more challenging. I don't want to blow things off because we will just have to deal with it as he gets older. I'd rather deal with a difficult one year old than a difficult 16 year old. Amen.)
